This is a 3D print file for a tactile model of a bee. Bees are yellow and black flying insects that live in hives, produce honey, and play an important role in pollination. The model highlights key anatomical features such as compound eyes, antennae used for sensing, a thorax with three segments and six legs, and an abdomen ending in a sting. It is suitable for tactile exploration and inclusive learning activities. The model was designed and tested as part of the 3D4VIP project. Printing instructions and tips: The model was tested on FDM printers with a standard 0.4 mm nozzle. A layer height of about 0.18 mm and a first layer height of 0.27 mm are recommended. Support structures are not required.
